Don’t show this to my mother …
– Mark Twain –
Michael is a photographer who has enough respect for me and knows that having fun and going out in weekends is very important to me. He also knows that I’m a party beast, so he doesn’t mind me being half hour late for a shoot on Sundays for instance. He doesn’t complain when I’m sharp on time either. ;-)
It’s just the risk of Sundays shoots that he is very aware of - and he takes it for what it is.
He also makes extra strong coffee for me before I arrive (even he prefers normal coffee for himself!) just in case I appear with a huge hangover, which I think is very kind of him. There are no many people like him …who accept and respect people for who they are and doing things on their own way.
… and that’s the very reason I’m always prepared to do my best for this guy.
Each time we have a shoot together, I work hard and with an attitude as it’s the most important shoot ever!
Why?
Because he deserves it.
Over and over again.
And I’m not working as half as this hard when shooting with other photographers (unless I’m well paid for it! :)), not even when I like them. Or in plain English: if you show me some decent respect, you’ll get as twice as much respect from me in return. That simple.
Yesterday we had our 15th (if not 20-est) shoot together in Leiden and it was one of our best (to me at least). In stead of us having fun with- and teasing the girls. This time the girls were making fun and teased us. At some point, they just spontaneously took his camera and ordered us to get in the spotlights together. I was astonished.

And this is Uchi, very dangerous girl when she grabs the camera in her hands. Photo by Michael, model: Uchi. Leiden, 20/7/2008.

Hey Alexander,
You know I wouldn’t tell your mother ;-). Expect you won’t tell mine. Wow man, you know your way with my breasts. Haven’t had stiff niples like this for ages :-)
