After I’ve done greasepaint workshop on October 4, 2008 in Veldhoven – and learned how to make burn and cut wounds, the photographer Lette said she was curioced what I was now going to with it…

Well, the answer on thatone is quite easy: I’m gonna party! ;-)

Two weeks ago Jeroen also asked me if I was gonna be on Halloween party in Rock-café Asgard, where we have Halloween party every year, and I said I’d like that, as there might be very much interesting and inspiring horror faces – and perhaps we might make some cool & scarry faces ourselfs. And that’s what we did.

Halloween make up

So, last friday we got all together at my place and while Suus was applying Halloween make up on her boyfriend Teun, with a little bit of fantasy, I was transforming Heidy into a vampire.

Vampire face

Vampire, making of …

Half way her transformation she’s been biten by a real vampire (greasepaint), so her face become somewhat pale and she had to take some rest.

Vampire face, model Heidy & Big Girl in the background, smoking a sigaret…

Scarry beaten up face

Then I was working on Jeroen’s scarry (beaten up) face, while using a lots of wax, paint and fake blood, all until he looked like he’s really been beaten up or he even escaped from a horror movie.

Beaten up face, Jeroen.

Once done with him, our friends were taking the pictures of his cut face, broken nose and cut wound hand with my Nikon camera… and in a meantime I had the next victim on my make-up chair.

… so how real is it actually? Very real! Just like this one; cut wounded hand.

Cut wound, hand.

Cute gothic witch

Just like Heidy, Suus also had brought some nice (witch) costume too, so with her nicely shaped eyes, full lips and a smooth skin, it was quite easy. All I had to do, was to put more accent on her eyes (what finally became smoky eyes), color her lips vivid red - and make her skin look a little bit pale.

Cute gothic witch, Suus.

With her costume on, she finally looked a bit gothic and certainly like a cute witch.

At the end, with all the make up, funky fanthasy costumes and all, we were finally ready… for a long waited Halloween party.
So far we have:

  • a vampire
  • a witch
  • and beaten up guy.
Vampire
Witch
Beaten up guy.
Also in the picture: Suus applying make-up on her boyfriend Teun.

Now, let’s party!
