Photographer Marcus just sent me the pics of our photoshoot in Jakarta. We’d do some regular beauty/fashion shoot, but the model took also a kimono with her and during the cigarette before the shoot, she let me know that she’d also like to have a Geisha make-up & shoot that day, which I’ve never done before…

She is a beginning model, but definitely multi-talented and one with guts.

Memoirs of a Geisha

So, none of us was prepared for it and Japanese people are probably gonna lough at us when they see these pics (Kimono is Chinese! :)) and as we didn’t have any other (hairstyle nor other..) materials, we decided to go for a little bit modern but simple “Memoirs of a Geisha” alike shoot style.

The makers of the movie are probably gonna lough us out too, but hey.. who cares!? We enjoyed a whole shoot and had a good time that day.

Surrealistic

The rest of my day was very surrealistic in every possible way. In the morning I took a shower and had a breakfast in 3 stars hotel and then I took a cab to the shoot location. Amazingly, the driver got lost only twice that morning :)) and then I had a shoot with two very interesting people. Before I knew I found myself pushing photographers car together with Jakarta’s police agent, in the middle of a well known Jakarta’s traffic jam (his car got broke half way my hotel..), having coffee & fun with two other (heavily armed) police agents, while watching the street cat being friend with a huge city rat, and eating from a threshold in stead… My day eventually ended partying with Jack all night once again — and being surrounded by the most gorgeous women of Indonesia.

So, I wonder… how bad is all this?
And why should I complain in my life ever again?

I also realized that one of Jakarta’s hottest women appeared to be Jack’s wife. Which made me wonder… should I continue my journey at all, or just stay there and get myself one of Jakarta’s hottest chicks as well — and live my life just as Jack does?
