Total madness
Leaving Jakarta (personal message for Jack*)
Partying in Jakarta is total madness. Alex has very annoying hangover now, with a headache from here to Tokyo. Two Paracetamols that he got from the receptionist girl this morning, aren’t very helpful. Not helpful at all. He’ll probably take two more later… His flight to Sydney is therefore gonna be very tough.
He also lost his mobile phone somewhere last night. Either in Top Gun, My Bar or in a cab underway back to his hotel. It’s the second mobile phone he lost so far the last two and half month of traveling, but loosing the mobile phone in a city like Jakarta can’t be easier. It’s as easy as slapping a mosquito. To my opinion, he should be happy he didn’t lose his mind (yet).
And all that while I warned him to take it easy… but as stubborn as he only can be, he wouldn’t listen to me. So there you have it. Now he’s sitting next to me as a bag of rotten potatoes, with a hangover that he pretty much deserved.
As he just checked in on Jakarta’s airport, right now he is sitting almost motionless in some airport’s cafe and he’s looking like a disaster. The madness wouldn’t be madness if there was no Indonesian girl sitting across our table… She too is waiting for a flight now and she’s hitting on Alex constantly. After her Japanese husband? went to toilet, Alex gave her discreetly a wink back and polite smile (well, it’s still Indonesia :))… even though he looks bad now, doesn’t even feel his fingers, let alone he can hold a cup of coffee or even a cigarette decently. It’s a tough job at the moment. He therefore asked me to type his “Bule Gila” friend Jack* a personal message on his behalf. I suggested that “enough is enough” ..and that he should rather leave all this madness behind, but as I am unable to disobey (him), I of course, always respect his wishes. Even this time.

P.S. Ashtray is back in her pub now, where she came from.. so she won’t be writing soaps like these (on my behalf) anymore. I think my fans shouldn’t know these things.

This is not just real (total) madness, it is pure life… so intense :)
