Siobhan’s fashion clothing design

Alright, this was my second (not forgotten :)) fashion clothing design shoot in Mumbai, with the same photographer (Tanvi) whom I previously worked on Indian bride shoot, but the clothing designer this time was the girl called Siobhan, designer girl who doesn’t follow the latest fashion trends but dreams of setting fashion trends herself and probably also creating her own clothing line or dresses label some day. She said she shops sometimes in Hong Kong when she’s about to design clothes and looking for clothing textiles in order to design her own patterns.

One of the models was, upon my own request, model Isha of course. The other model that day, was designer’s sister. Cute and young girl. It was her very first shoot, so she was a bit nervous, but it was only before the make-up. By the time she stood in a front of the camera, I made her relax, so she was doing just fine.

I have also to mention, that the make-up room had no air conditioning, so doing the make-up there would be pointless. I did it in the studio itself in stead, where we had no appropriate mirror with lights… and now when looking back at these fashion pictures, I think I screwed the eye shadows a little. They are not as symetric as they should be. But well, ghmmmm, ok.. I like the results anyway.

Second fashion shoot in Mumbai

This was thus my second clothing design fashion shoot in Mumbai. Just for the record, this was Siobhan’s second clothes design collection ever — and I think she’s done terrific job!

Tanvi Madkaiker left the staid and colorless world of academics behind in the spring of 2008 when she graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Advertising.

A would-be fashion photographer who’s fascinated by dilapidated old buildings, barber shops and clocks, Tanvi regularly mixes the elegant with the absurd to produce work that is hers and hers alone.
A young and instinctive photographer, Tanvi upholds all the romantic, individualistic and iconoclastic ideals of photography as she knows it and is in constant pursuit of perfection.

Currently working independently on a variety of projects, she has been published in reputed publications such as, Society Interiors and Marie Claire.
