Dangers and survival
Ever since we’re born, we’re struggling for survival. According to my good friend Richard Dawkins, human beings are machines. Machines designed for survival. And I agree. That’s what we are. So, I don’t understand why some people complain on this issue, all the time?!
Danger
Dangers are all around us. Where ever we go, where ever we look, what ever we do… all the same thing: danger. Volcanoes, earthquakes, hurricanes, tsunamis, diseases, hunger… it’s all there because it’s meant to be there, in order to make us better and stronger survival machines.
On our life-road, we often see the road signs and symbols, telling our path is: a little bit dangerous, there is a great danger or there is no danger at all. Ignore them - and you’re done, overexaggerate them – and you have no life at all, even you have your survival shelter and well prepared survival kit. With latest, your survival rate is probably going to be extremely low.
Real danger
Either it’s a danger of being hit by a drunk driver, die of cancer (because some of your grandparents had it, so that gen is in your family), to die from alcohol intoxication and drugs abuse – or even to die in an airplane crash.. these dangers are real and are part of every day life. In a way, there is always certain probability some of us won’t wake up tomorrow, or day after. For each new day in our life, that probability increases. Which means, you and I have a lot to worry about.
But really, how could life bring any good, if we’d worry all the time?
As the matter of fact, if we would, in that case I think life would be pointless, as surviving would be nothing more then every day calculating routine. So if you’re anxious and worrying type of person, I’d say: stop worrying and give your life a meaning – and purpose.
…. and especially: “DON’T PANIC!” ;-)
Dangerous women
Personally, from all kind of dangers I ever encounted in my life, beautiful alpha women were the greatest dangers of all.. either it were photo models whom I treated professionally and with respect, or the girls I used to date.
Yes, dangerous women like the one bellow. :)
