French next top model
A couple of minutes before Ger dropped me at Schiphol, Dutch airport, I started feeling that known excitement in my stomach. Something I missed the last 6 months. Couldn’t wait till the pilot would fire the plane engines under my a$$.
I guess I stayed too long at home.
The customs were fast this time. Unexpectedly fast to be honest. I was done with everything in less then an hour (even some people in a front of me were asked to take off their shoes while passing the customs, that was new to me!).. means: an hour and half waiting for my flight to Montpellier. :-/
Fortunately, I met there a Dutch lady who waited for the same flight. At the moment I took a seat at waiting area, she was helping a young south American girl with her ticket. She seemed to be a bit confused and it looked like she didn’t know where exactly was she supposed to wait.

Within no time, I found myself talking to a Dutch lady. She was a bit older, perhaps retired already. It was hard for me to distinguish, ’cause her make-up was well done, so she looked far younger then she in reality was. She later told me she used to be a make-up artist too, which was an amazing coincidence and that explained a lot about her look. Then a young fellow came to sit next to us. He too was waiting for a flight to Montpellier and amazingly, he lived in a house next to a castle that the make-up lady would often visit during her weekly hiking near to Montpellier. Needless to say, another coincidence was that later in the airplane, the young fellow got a seat 16F (I had 16A, and the make-up lady was sitting in a front of us) so he had a right wing, while I’ve got left.
All those coincidences triggered me to tell a story how I met Johnatan in Mumbai. At the end of my story the make-up lady, insisted: “there are no coincidences, things happen when you are open for it”.
Maybe it’s the destiny of this Young French Next Top Model as well?
Eva, Magali’s daughter dismissed the child watch I brought her (I bought it in the airplane) as a present, and seized the little Golden Rose make-up set that was actually meant as a gift for her mother. But as her mother lost her watch and in fact needed one, the deal between mother and daughter was silently made, without too much fuss about it. :)
The next French top model is coming!
Magali and I agreed, that teachers are probably right by not allowing the little kids to come to school with make-up on (although I think Eva thinks otherwise :)) … but we also agreed that it won’t harm if she plays with it in weekends when she’s at home, thus when she has a day off. It’s better to play with make-up then with Nintendo, let alone with matches.
So, while awaiting for my photo shoot in Montpellier on Friday, Eva wanted me to do her make-up twice already. So I’d say… France watch out, take your seats and fasten your belts.. The next top model is coming!

Hi Alex,
By reading your story I can imagine you have a great time in Montpelier with Magali and her daughter Eva. I also can imagine that Eva is very happy with you, that is what all the little (and big girls) want. That someone is making you beautiful. She looks great!
Enjoy your last days for the fullest and see ya soon.

Thanks nanny! ;)
Yes, I think Eva is very healthy little girl, who already knows that being pretty is important to a girl… and she gives me as much as I give to her. She’s fun to be with!

I love the South of France and almost all girls sooner or later will try to make up - it’s in their nature;)

The small model has a lot going on, but I think it’s nice if you are already in the young age already laying a foundation for future careers.
