Hmmm… it seems the spirit of my dead father is trying to ruin everything. :-/
But let’s see how big is his d*ck really.

It’s gonna be fun…

World Ticket Center helpdesk

Booking a flight to Belgrade, mailing with World Ticket Center helpdesk, my EU make-up tour cancellation.. and other short and exotic tales.

* All dates bellow are correct, hours are approximately 3h behind and the traslations from Dutch are rough and quick.. but all that shouldn’t really matter that much, I think.

Thank you for your fast and excellent service!

As your office is almost closing, go home now, have a good meal, make love to your partner, pray that my airplane doesn’t crash tomorrow (the spirit my dad can be really nasty sometimes) and eventually sponsor my next world travel.

Kind regards,
ALEXANDERM

Dear [name],

Thanks for your mail. Fortunately I don’t need a hotel once I’m in Belgrade, so I won’t book it right now through a World Ticket Center. This way we can keep colateral damage reasonable.

The good thing is, we can blame this inconveniance on the spirit of my father.
So far his spirit has been really nasty the last 3 days. But I know the spirit of my dead father a little.. and I assure you, we’ll survive that.

Have a good day & kind regards,
Alexander Vidakovic,

Dear sir,

I spoke this morning (two hours ago, to be precise) with your helpdesk, had mrs. [name] online. I asked her kindly to mail me 2 e-tickets I already booked. “She’d make a note”, she said, but I still didn’t receive any other message from you by now, whatsoever.

Request: Due to a sudden death of my father — I MUST NOT — miss this flight to Belgrade tomorrow morning. Have enough things on my mind, so please don’t ruin it for me any further. My money is on your bank account. The booking code is known. Mailing me now the e-tickets shouldn’t be that difficult.

Kind regards,
Alexander Vidakovic

Alright, this whole EU make-up tour gaga is definitely canceled now, so he’s on winning hand at the moment,.. but the battle isn’t over yet. By the end of the week I’m gonna have a drink on his grave and I’ll pour one for him as well. It’s a promise.

… for now we have it your way dad.

  1. MajorTom says:

Lol. Its possible your Dad decided to fuck things up using the volcano as well ;)

  2. Alexander says:

    I’m not kiddin’ Tom!

Our flights to Amsterdam-Zurich and Zurich-Belgrade, were both half hour late, both had 1-3 minutes strong turbulence (which didn’t happen to me during my ‘Around The World Trip’ that dramatic a single time) and when we landed in Belgrade - Swiss airlines lost our bags (we’ve got them 2 days after we arrived) + my cousin didn’t wait at the airport for us as she opened my e-mail an hour after the airplane landed.

Last Thursday when I wanted to visit the grave of my father, there came a such strong storm that even the electricity got shot down, so I went to visit his grave yesterday in stead. A couple of minutes before we went there I said to my brother let’s bring some drinks with us so I can cheer my dad up a little, but my brother said, it’s not necessary as he left some drinks there the very same morning so we could drink those.. but once we got there the drinks were gone. I think the local gypsies took it away.

Basically, everything went wrong what could go wrong except that our airplane didn’t crash.

For the rest, I’m not someone who sees ghosts, nor I’m a superstitious guy, but some aspects of this whole thing are just funny, from the moment I booked the tickets - to the moment I stood next to my father’s grave.

    You’re always sooo impatient, Alex!

    Greetz,
    Vincent

  4. Alexander says:

@Vincent, I can tell you my flight back from Belgrade (through Poland) to NL was all but pleasant. No worries, those polish customs shitheads are gonna hear from me yet.. for unreasonably bugging my assistant and being simply - idiots!

    .. very pi*sed off now.

  5. Saskia says:

Alex, gecondoleerd. Sterkte Alex!

  6. Alexander says:

That’s correct Sas, when the moment comes, you’ll just get sucked into it - either you want it or not. And the best thing you can do, I think, is the same what Major Tome told me back in India, say: “I surrender” and do simply what you have to do.

    … thanks!
