Biography

After a good dinner one can forgive anybody, even one’s own relatives.
– Oscar Wilde —

First of all, English is not my mother language, so read further at your own risk!

My mother is a workaholic, well at least she was. The most of my relatives from my mothers’ side were/are workaholics as well. They rarely drunk or smoke(d). Some of them died at young age and just one of them (that I know of) died without having his own children first. My mother never got rich although she struggled a lot and worked hard her whole life. She just had a simple life. She gave birth to five children.

My father was an alcoholic, the most part of his life of course. The most of my relitives from my fathers’ side were alcoholics as well. Almost all of them smoked, even my grandmother did. My father worked as less as possible. His drunk was his highest priority. Also he, never got rich in any way, not even spiritual. In comparesment, the folks from my fathers’ side, lived as long as the guys from my mothers’ side, or even longer, if I don’t count those who died in latest war. My father lived very simple life too and gave life to five kids (that I know of…), possibly even more, you never know, but I can hardly imagine that.

And now they both got just old and ill, with at most a few years to live yet.

But what kind of kids come out of a such family? Theoreticly seen, it can go in any direction. Those that survived (the first born didn’t!) are tough ones in many ways. That’s for sure.

My brother and 2 sisters, all survived the war and have now 3 lovely kids each. I’m now 38 years old and have no children yet (not that I know of at least ;-)). I’m also the youngest one.

When I was a kid, in my early age I started to paint and write the poems, but I was soon brainwashed that “you can’t live from art”. I was told to work on our (tobacco) farm in stead. And so I did. Working hard all the way from the age of 10. But I also did keep painting and sometimes writing the poems too.

When I become 18, I started to study the law, like my mother wanted me to. About the same age I told my oldies that I worked enough for them, so I left my home and sattled with a girl I met at the university (we lived more or less 2 years together). During my study I also worked hard in order to pay the bills. That were astonishing times and circumstances, like “hyperinflation” of several hunderds up to a thousand percent that hit the country, while my monthly earnings were not more worth then a pack of sigaretts in just 4 weeks time after my monthly payments. Which means, as soon as I got my money, I had to spend it at once or to convert it in foreign valute.. Take a look what’s going on in Zimbabwe right now, just to get an idea.

After that, I decided to stop living my moms’ dream (by quitting my study) and I ended my relationship too. As the matter of fact, with just 2 pack of sigaretts in my pocket (and no money at all), my sleepingbag and my passport, I left my country forever. I was then 21 years old.

It took me 3 days until I had my first meal again. That’s when hunger forced me to steal. I stole bread in Germany (and that was the only thing I stole!) because I was hungry. Never felt guilt about it, because there is a saying in Serbia: “It’s not a sin to steal a bread or a book!” So, to the folks who suffer from hunger, the only thing I have to say is this: earn it or steal it!

if you steal it, steal it from those who have more! But be also prepared to pay for it if you get caught. If it’s not a crime to you, it is to those you steal from…

Four days later I came to The Netherlands, hitchhiking the distance of more then 2000 kilometers. The food in those 4 days I’ve got from the truck-drivers (that’s why I like to buy them a drink now, whenever I meet them in the pubs). My first ‘home’ was of course Vondelpark, the well known park in Amsterdam where I slept the first 3 weeks. Then I moved to a squat… That was thus 17 years ago.

From that time on, my life had plenty of ups-and-downs and I changed many places where I lived, many professions, jobs and even as much partners. Last 18 years I’ve done many things. I’ve worked for a$$holes, published (as a freelancer) in PC Active, trusted wrong people, trusted some good people… eughmmmm, who cares. Now I’m my own boss. Now I work as a Make-up Artist (the best job one can imagine), web and graphic designer and SEO… with no boss upon me.

I think it’s now just a perfect moment I continue living my dreams.

More about my childhood

As a kid I was often beaten up. Sometimes by my parents, often by my schoolmates and sometimes even by some of my teachers. The situation at home was desperate and far from ‘promissing’. It looked like there was no place to hide but in my inner world (that’s where my art came from I guess). I was regulary comming home from school with a huge headache, every day, 4 years long at least. This is how I looked like back then. (pic 1)

Soon I went to a sport-school (wrestling, pic 2*) where I learned to fight. Beside the selfconfidence which I earned (yes, we have to earn that too), the headaches stopped spontaniously and I even won several competitions. The small ones as well as big ones (on a state level). I also started running and won within this sport a several competitions too (pic 4).

From that time on, I faught at school every day all untill there was no one left to fight with, all untill it became for fun, kind of addiction (about that time I stopped). The only reason I haven’t been kicked out of school, were my high grades.

Even the most of my teachers disliked me back then, I still had the best grades on entire school, so I could stay. Just because of my grades, they had to give me the price of “the best pupil of the year” and some teachers just didn’t like that idea. My high grades were however my only protection and my only ally. I did figure that out back then, so I feared nothing and no one.

During my highschool I become more introvert guy. School became boring to death and I started to go out, to drink and smoke, doing more art and reading a lots of books (all but those that were on my literature list haha). Mainly philosophy. As the matter of speaking, about that time I started seeking my life path.

On the pic 5, I’m standing next to my ‘history of art’ and ‘philosophy’ teacher.

Now, 18 years later… I don’t seek my life path anymore.
Now I walk my path.

About my dreams

At early age I was one of those kids who wanted to fly. I even dreamed of being an astronaut and I of course built some small rockets from the matches (young folks, don’t try that at home!). Some of them even flew a short distances. Soon I understood, the chance of becoming an astronaut, was equal to a zero and when I was about the age of 15, I wanted to apply to military academy so I could become a pilot, but my older brother prevented that (as he just finished military academy himself and become an officer at that time) and ever since, my flying dream didn’t come further then flying in commercial jets while going on vacations, just like many other people.

Still, I didn’t give up on my dreams.
Some day I will:

  • Fly an airplane.
  • Drive Tesla car, better known as Tesla Roadster (I have to get driving lisence first.. haha). For now I’ll be glad to have a single ride, if someone can offer me one… well yeah, let’s have a fun! ;-)
  • Fly into space.
  • Do the eyebrow-lift, fix my nose and my hair (no I don’t have to become bold like my father!)
  • Play in a hardrock band
  • Have my own hardrock pub with live music
  • Do plenty of other things that many other people won’t admit they also dream about, let alone dare doing it.
  • Not work at all if I don’t want to
  • … just to name some.

Right now I’m busy with my worldtravel.

My idols and heroes

Idols? None. I burried them all. I do however have a few heroes left, and among them:

  • Nikola Tesla (because he was greater then Einstein), more info on Nikola Tesla (Wikipedia)
  • Mileva Maric (because she was greater then Einstein too)
  • Stephen Hawking (because he is equal to Einstein and also a very brave guy)
  • David Bowie (because he survived Ziggy Stardust and became a great ‘human’ artist)
  • Iggy Pop (because he survived the drugs, became Ziggy’s friend and is now a great human artist as well)
  • Nick Cave (because he is a true artist.)
  • Herman Hesse (because he wrote masterpieces like: ‘Sidartha’ and ‘Demian’)
  • Patrick Suskind (because he wrote ‘Das Parfum’)
  • Miyamoto Musashi (because he wrote ‘A Book Of Five Rings’)
  • Robin Baker (because he wrote ‘Sperm wars’)
  • Richard Dawkins (because he wrote ‘The Selfish Gene’)
  • Oscar Wilde (because he wrote ‘The Picture of Dorian Gray’)
  • Benoîte Groult (because she wrote ‘Salt on Our Skin’)
  • Rene Diekstra (because he wrote ‘O Nederland, vernederland’)
  • Cindy Jackson (because she did what many others dream about, but wouldn’t dare to do, nor say a word about it if they did)
  • Bobby Fischer, Peter Handke and Thomas Deichmann (because they were the ONLY Serbian friends, when Serbia needed one, which equals = may drunk Jeltsin, and Jeltsin alike cowards burn in hell forever, for allowing NATO to bomb Serbia! In what kind of fbeepckin’ world are we living, if there is no one to protect the Indians and where United Nations are in fact run by fascists?!). The price Mr. Fischer paid for it, was high. He paid for it first with exile and then with his life!

I also admire

Christopher Walken, Mickey Rourke, Eric Roberts, Sean Penn, Al Pacino, Robert De Niro, and Emilio Estevez (great actors and I believe also a great personalities). I admire a few actresses (and singers) as well, but I have a difficulty to decide is it because of their beauty or their talents ;-) such as: Linda Fiorentino, Kim Basinger, Jeri Lynn Ryan, Sarah Jessica Parker, Madonna and Heather Locklear.

My favorite music is (among others) made by

System Of A Down, Rage Against The Machine; David Bowie, Iggy Pop; Nick Cave, Massive Attack, Poets to their beloved and Jan-Paul van der Meij. I also (almost as much) enjoy the music of totally unknown bands, who send me their demo cd’s every month.

My favorite movies and series (among others) are

Eyes wide shut, The Matrix, The Prophecy, The Devil’s Advocate, Amélie, Barfly, The last seduction, Angel Heart, By The Sword, Free Jack, Young guns (I and II), Star Wars, Star Trek series (Star Trek, yes, the one with Mr. Spock, The Next Generation, Star Trek Voyager), Stargate (the movie) and of course: Sex and the City (including the movie) …

If it was possible to go back in time

I’d be glad to talk, just for once (among others) to: Nikola Tesla, Aristotles, Leonardo da Vinci and Lao Tse.

My favorite animals are

Birds, because they fly, live on the trees and sing every morning, without even asking me to feed them.

My favorite drinks are

Jameson, Jägermeister (with ice), red wine, coffee, water and thea.

My favorite food is

Almost everything, I’m not that picky guy.

My favorite color

CMYK. ;-)

My favorite people

Irish, if I was not a Serb, I would then most probably (like to) be Irish! Because Irish never accepted British rule. And that’s where Serbs now failed, after so many fights through ages… In “natural selection”, there is no excuse for such a failure. (don’t ever forget that Mr. Boris Tadic!)

… Irish folks are also fun to be with in the pubs. Drink with them, don’t fight with them! ;-)

I dislike

The politicians. That’s where Arnold Schwarzenegger stopped being my hero, despite his former (great) achievements as: bodybuilder, businessman and an actor. Although, he sometimes still does some cool stuff, so some day I just might forgive him. ;-)

I also

Do not hate.
Am not a racist.
Do not deal drugs or practice any other criminal activity.

I do

Like visiting the pubs and listen to what other people have to tell me.

My beliefs and disbeliefs

I don’t believe in ‘democracy’. I lived equaly long in both (latest) societies systems, the communist one as well as capitalist one, so I can say that. As far as it democracy concerns, we have rights to:

  • work and pay all kind of scarry insurances that insure us for just about anything but being fearless, healthy and free
  • buy the stuff and pay the taxes on products, such as: homes, food, clothes, gadgets and even drugs.
  • (limited) freedom of speech - and pay for that too
  • pay more taxes in general, so the (western) governments can buy the wapons in order to fight and kill ‘the indians’
  • travel and pay travel taxes as well
Smoke signals, Alexander - drawing 2001.

We do not have rights to vote (only brainwashed dumbo’s believe we have!) and to chose our leaders. Voting systems are based on lies and are meant to benefit those who created it. We do however pay their salaries, so they can imprison us. Voting to me is like digging your own grave. I voted only once in my entire life and I deeply regret it. I believe it was one of my biggest mistakes ever! And that’s one of the only things I regret in my life so far. No way I’m gonna do that again… even they kill me.

I also regret I ever wrote the lyrics for Kitstone’s: “Out of control” WarChild song that appeared on a Dutch WarChild “Boem” CD back in 1996… That’s because I now believe WarChild organisation is FAKE, if not even worse!

IT’S ALL FAKE!

As the matter of fact I also believe we live in the worst fascistic system ever, “One World Fascistic Government”, led by the elite whom nothing is holy. Compared to them, Hitler was a joke! They are murderors and invisible ghosts who operate from shadows and from the dark. They are cowards with no human values and their souls are lost forever.

Rage Against The Machine, “Killing in the name of…”

In a short, world governments are (legaly) organized into the greatest global mafia ever, who collect taxes, sale the weapons in order to design horrible events like Srebrenica (Click here to read the article in English). They are addicted gold and oil diggers who create the wars and laws as they are pleased, as they are the only ones to benefit from those. They also don’t mind let the North-Pole cap melt, so they can digg more gold, gass and oil - even if half of us die… They are constantly changing our reality, from advertising (product) commercials, all the way up to manipulating countries borders. They are ‘axes of evil’, as they invented the terrorism and evil themselfs. The animals (just for comparison) do not have knowledge of evil, because the evil is not natural. It’s rather the product of human mind as a such.

It doesn’t matter what country we’re talking about or we live in. All the same.
Rule based on ignorance, strong and fear.

Other disbelief’s

I do not believe in organized charities. They steal more money then they give to those in need. So, when the next tsunami happens, you better give to those in need personally.

Or in words of my good friend Koos: “Fu*king as much as you can, is the best what you can do for 3d world countries.”

Since 1999, I’m not blood donator anymore. When asked to name the reason (on the paper) for quitting, I wrote something like: “because Dutch government sent the F16’s to bomb my country, while my country never declared the war to Dutch… so the Dutch gov. may go and Fbeepck themselfs as no Dutch soldier will ever get MY blood again.” … I still mean it!

…. which however doesn’t mean I hate Dutch. In contrary, I have enough Dutch friends as I’m smart enough to know that regular folks like me, do not make (nor they have power to do so) such decisions.

Beliefs

I believe the recent ‘pubs smoking ban’ in the Netherlands (and the rest of United States of Europe) had these reasons as a target:

  • to reduce the number of pubs
  • to reduce social contacts, life joy and freedom, to isolate us from eachother, so the transformation of human beings into the walking robots and obeying slaves gets easier
  • attempt to increase average ‘physical’ health so we can WORK longer (not healthier!) and pay LONGER the taxes
  • to lift up the prices of alcohol (in the future) for those who attempt to drink at home in stead in the pubs where smoking is prohibited, so the state makes more money from alcohol products.. just like in Sweden
  • to hush us asleep before 10 o’clock at evenings, after we saw the most important commercials on tv

To be perfectly honest, I don’t believe that.
I know that.
I recognise the ‘dictatorship’ when I see one.

So, I’d say, IF YOU SMOKE, screw the motha’fu*kers and smoke whenever you’re pleased en where ever you’re pleased. The (at least factor 10) unreal amount of money they steal from you through your cigarettes, allows you to do that. So these thief’s can can go and f*ck them self.

If it was a democracy, there would be:

  • a simple choice in between ’smoking’ and ‘non-smoking’ pubs. To the pub-owners, such a choice was never given (neither it was offered to me, the pubs visitor)!
  • If it was to benefit the non-smoking part of the society and their health, the cars would’ve been banned first.
  • If it was to benefit human health in general, the entire ‘pharmacy’ would’ve been banned a long, long time ago too…

Sooo, my personal message to Brussel and Den Haag is: F*ck Brussel and Den Haag!

***********

I do however believe in myself and in positive thinking. People who want to change themselfs, their lifes and their own reality… as well as their own beliefs, can do just that. That I believe too. Or to be more precise, I know that… because I changed mine.

I also believe the entire universe is a huge living being. No matter how deep down we look with the microscope or how far in the sky we look with the telescope… what we see on all levels, is pretty much the same. Evertything is connected and everything moves. That’s what true God means to me.

I’m not a member of any political party nor any religious or occult group. Politics, occults and religions are one of the most effective brainwashing and enslaving deseases. These should be banned from this planet entirely.

Spirituality on the other hand is not, as far as one conciders it being personal. Spirituality is an individual thing, for yourself - and yourself only. Once it becomes a ‘group’ item, an institution, like a church, just to name some… it becomes then an instrument to enslave us. The same goes for politics and thus state institutions.

These are my beliefs, not yours of course, so you’re free to disagree.

I shall always respect and obey the rules of every country (I travel through), but I will never accept anyones leadership, ideology or spiritual superiority,… I shall bow to nobody, because nobody is superior to me. Because none of the humans is a God just yet.

* The leather bracelet that can be seen (pic 2) on my right arm was actually prohibited, as in wrestling it can harm the opponent. When asked by my coach to take it off, I refused because it was given to me by a girl I was in love with (ironicly enough, I was just one of her many marked options, but she never became my girlfriend! ;-)), that’s how stubborn I was (and I still am)…. But he decided that I could stay anyway, because I was a good wrestler.

  3. Aleksandra says:

    Vauuuu…

  4. Alexander says:

@Grishma thank you. Good luck 2u2.

@Aleksandra, try thisone: uyiii yuuu yui iiii!

  5. Krullenbol says:

    Hoi Marijke!

Ik ben Marianne 1, ik wil die tekening heel graag van je overnemen!!

    Groetjes!

  6. Alexander says:

Girrrrrls, I hope you make a good deal. Otherwise there are always other options:

    a. We split Marianne 1, each gets half. Each pays for a new frame.
    b. I make a new drawing, which means, Marianne 1 has to take her clothes off once more.
    c. We sale Marianne 1 to R. and split the money. :)
